Driving directions to Mountain Valley Airport via Highway 58

From Los Angeles: Take Interstate 5 north past San Fernando to Interstate 14.  East on 14 past Palmdale and Lancaster to Mojave. North west on 58 to first Tehachapi turn-off. Turn left (west). Take Steuber, first street (next to Chevron station) south to Highline. Turn right (west) on Highline. Turn left at airport sign. Total distance from Burbank about 103 miles.

From Bakersfield: Highway 58 east toward Mojave/Tehachapi. Take first Tehachapi turn-off.  Continue on Tucker Road straight through the lights at Tehachapi Blvd. and Highway 202.  You will pass two shopping centers including an Albertson's, Save Mart, and Rite Aid on the right.  Continue 2 miles and make a left (East) onto Highline Road.  Proceed about 4 miles and make a right at the brown airport sign.  Total distance from downtown Bakersfield is about 45 miles.
